Hello Hello!!!,

Easter update! :) I hope everyone is embracing the holiday and will be enjoying some delectable cadbury, nestle', whittakers, lindt bunnies and or eggies over the next few days! Generally the game goes- eat the entire rabbit. Is always a butter chicken moment- feels like such a good idea-but the after math- potentially fatal.
So I hope moderation is intitiated:) NOT! hehe. gosh- sometimes I am 5.

On that note- I actually did buy a kite the other day, that I am still yet to fly, its sitting in my boot collecting dust, ironically I brought it on the 1 windless day in Wellington City- it has an eagle on it, so for $8 I couldn't not!!!

My friend had her baby shower today- that was fun:D why is everything so much cuter in minature!!! socks, shoes, t'shirts, onesies! Gah- I need to steal a small person to dress, maybe pretend to be a pagent mum for a week or so.

COOOKIESSS!!: For the baby shower- I made some cookies- the recipe is a basic edmonds chocolate chip cookie recipe- then mix in 1/2 pkt of oreos- dark cooking chocolate, some white chocolate buttons- all cut up- and macadamia nuts. not going to blow my own trumpet- but lordy I'd go another round!!:) Some one had posted a recipe where they put an actual whole oreo sandwiched inside cookie dough then baked- so that was a wee twist on that since I ran out of oreos, and didn't want to die from cookie on cookie action :)

I saw the hunger games the other week! The hair/makeup was ghastly, was weird- megatu meets steampunk/ the worst of the 90's, I don't know how I feel about it, other than that it was ammazing- 1/2 way through the 1st book- the concept is quite a thrilling read- I recommend!! Also really want to see mirror mirror, the exotic hotel one- and snow white and the huntsman which should be out later this year!excite!!

FEJOIAS! are back in season-- only my most favouritest fruit in the whole wide world!!! AND I've discovered the best fruit and vege shop in the WORLD aswell! it's next to petes emporium (also another favo shop) in porirua- and everthing is SO CHEAP! it's ammazing, this is where I get my vege and fejoias from- would well recommend.

Petes Emporium- if you haven't made the trip out there yet- YOU are MISSING OUT!!! it's my fav!!! Millions of wigs- all super cheap- it's kind of like the warehouse- but with fabric- hardware, stationary, and costumes, and anything else crafty you may want:) it's my dreamland- SO over spotlight- but actually in saying that- I did go to spotlight the other day to buy a pattern (Yes I know, I was being lazy and couldn't be bothered pattern making) but the girl was super nice!!(for spotlight this is a first) It's ammazing how one person can just make your day that much better with a smile:) They usually all have a face like a dropped pie.

One of my good friends is coming up from Dunedin next friday, she's been living in Japan/taiwan for ages so haven't seen her in faarrrr too long- she's coming up for my friends hens night on saturday- 50's desperate house wives themed, so I can't wait!!!:) yeas they'll be a penis cake. But on friday night we're going to have a slumber party just like when we were little! I can not wait to see miss Emily Gray.

Puppies are good- Vada E've is 6 months now- she's really big and lovely:) Growing into a big soft teddy bear and Mr Savaloy is a great wee guy too- they are besties:)

The mimco shoot- I came 10th- I didn't get into the top 5 which I was abit upset about, but I really appreciate the support from the lovely people who voted!! I would have loved to be in the running. but there were a few late entries who somehow managed to get in the 3000's with the votes, so I couldn't keep up! Also somehow 50+ of my votes vanished into thin air- and they apparently couldn't do anything about it, so think it's abit rigged. But never the less:) everything happens for a reason =hopefully something else will come along!!

Freelancing still- weddings are winding down abit now, so taking on a few clients per week for cuts/ colours/mens cuts/hair ups the whole sherbang!!:) So if anyone needs something done- please get in touch! Saving for the trip to Hong Kong which is coming up soon! Still in the saving mode:) Can't wait to have some fun in disneyland with Katie cross in our 5 star hotel!!!:D exciting!

Blenhiem in May for my friends wedding- hence the hens night, I've never been down there so can't wait to see the beautiful place:) and my beautiful friend walking down the isle with mr right:) yipeeee.

PLUS: yes- sewing- getting back into that- haven't sewn in far too long, which is very naughty of me- so I'm making a blue pattern velvet dress -50's style that's my next project, :) shall post pictures ones its all in one piece!:D

UK magazine -Defuze, asked us to submit some shots for their latest edition- edition 3! Check out the magazine on the above link- we're towards the end:) 4 page spread- tomorrow when the 'war begun' with Phyo Thu- and the lovely O'hagan sisters!
Well also be submitting some work for the 4th edition and hopefully many more after as a monthly edition- should be out towards the end of april! fun:) We did a blade runner inspired shoot on sunday last week- with model emma slee, and phyo, and I had fun taking a few shots myself- to give me something to do- quite enjoying the old photoshop lately! it is fun:)

Congrats to the lovely Jen Maxwell and Claar for making the model cut for Wellington Fashion week, I have quite a few friends who are making things work for this event so pop along to some shows! It's coming up very soon- 18th-22nd of april:)

The couple who own brumbies, mum is friends with, and she doesn't like rasins/saltanas so every easter she requested chocolate hot cross buns- so now they're on the menu! Selling like hot cakes so pop down and get some- we brought 4 bags and they're almost gone!! SO YUM!!! so yes if you can grab some i'd recommend like nobodys business. xx
